Rollins Lake spans 900 acres and boasts 26 miles of shoreline. It’s home to an abundance of 10-12 inch rainbow trout which are consistently stocked in spring, alongside a thriving population of kokanee salmon. The lake also supports a good warm water fishery for bass, catfish, bluegill, and crappie.

The prime time for trout fishing is during spring, particularly near the lake's southern end by the dam. As the weather warms up, anglers shift their focus to bass fishing, with the best spots being the coves that line the lake's outstretched arms.

Being a popular spot for summer activities, it's advisable to time your fishing expeditions for the early mornings or late evenings to sidestep the peak crowds in the warmer months.
