Nicasio is known to produce some big bass, but this summer, reports say most fish are quite small. A 2-3 pounder is considered quality. Water clarity is slightly stained, which is typical for this time of year. Folks are throwing brightly colored crankbaits and spinnerbaits. Others are dragging soft plastics on the bottom. A few have noted using Rooster Tails for action on smaller bass and crappie.
