The fall action at Stafford has been solid. Bass are aggressive, hitting mainly dropshots and Senkos, with a decent topwater bite in the mornings on prop baits. Not many fish over a pound though. Bigger bluegill are becoming more common, and a few crappie were even pulled out recently. However, with cooler nights dropping water temperatures, the bite may shut down soon.
