Glen Helen Park Fishing Overview

Water Description

Glen Helen offers two lakes for fishing that are stocked in the winter with trout, and summer with catfish. Bass, carp, and sunfish round out the fishery. A daily fishing permit is $10-12 dollars. Trout fishing is best within 1-2 weeks after the stock, as anglers and birds get to them quickly. The county stocks trophy trout on occasion as well. Bass fishing can be fair in the warmer season, but not many fish are over 2 pounds.
