Lake Gregory, situated within the San Bernardino National Forest, spans 86 acres and boasts one of the area's premier trout fisheries. The CDFW stocks the lake consistently from winter to early spring, marking this period as the most opportune for fishing. Anglers can get consistent action whether trolling from a boat or kayak or casting from the shore. While many of the trout measure between 10-12 inches, some holdovers each year reach trophy sizes. To target these larger fish, trolling is the method of choice.

In addition to trout, Lake Gregory hosts bass, crappie, catfish, and carp. However, among anglers, trout remains the most sought-after species. Gas motors are prohibited, but electric motors are permitted. For convenience, boat rentals are available, and an on-site bait shop ensures anglers have access to the appropriate gear.
