Seccombe Park Lake is located in the heart of San Bernardino. In the winter and early spring, the California Department of Fish and Wildlife stocks the lake with rainbow trout, while catfish are stocked during the summer months.The lake is also home to largemouth bass, carp, and bluegill, with bass being the most popular.

Bass fishing at Seccombe can be challenging due to the explosion of weeds in the summer, and unpredictable underwater terrain. These conditions, though challenging, provide ideal hiding spots and hunting grounds for bass. Most bass caught here range between 1-2 pounds, but anglers occasionally reel in larger ones, weighing over 5 pounds.

The water visibility is usually stained green, but the colder months can improve the clarity. Seccombe Lake also hosts a thriving carp population, some weighing over 10 pounds.
