Coyote Lake Fishing Overview

Water Description

Coyote Lake is a recreational hotspot spanning 449 acres and surrounded by almost 800 acres of parkland. Late winter / early spring is when the trout bite really gets going. Late spring kicks off bass season, which can be excellent for both numbers and size. To maintain the lake's high-quality fishing, there's a widely endorsed informal agreement among anglers to release larger catches back into the water.

The boating season at Coyote Lake is open from mid-April to mid-October. However, low water levels may force the county to temporarily close the boat ramp, so be sure to stay informed on current conditions.
