Recreation boat activity is slowing a bit as the summer season comes to a close... a good thing for anglers. Folks are still finding decent bass action, especially in the mornings on top water baits or shakey heads. A lot of smaller fish to wade through, but a few 4-5 pounders have been caught recently with 2-3 pounders even more common. Bluegill and crawfish are the primary forage right now, so adjust your bait and color accordingly.
