Prado Regional Park, situated in Chino, offers a plethora of recreational activities, including camping, hiking, disc golf, biking, and more.

But most importantly, the park houses Prado Lake, which is home to a solid multispecies fishery. Trout fishing dominates during the colder months, while largemouth bass, catfish, and bluegill take center stage in the summer.

Trout are stocked yearly in winter, and the best time to fish is near those stock dates. Bass fishing good, but primarily for smaller fish. Giant catfish have been caught at Prado, mainly by soaking stink baits in low light.

The lake is open to kayaks, canoes, and some electric motors. Paddle boat rentals are also available.
