Excellent Catfish bite
Bass, Catfish, Carp
Slightly Stained

Prado’s been getting consistent catfish plants since mid-June, with the final one hitting at the end of August... and the bite’s still rolling. Evening action has been best near shallow flats or areas with a tapered bottom, with mackerel, anchovies, and bloody chicken livers all getting hit. The bass bite is fair, mostly on dropshots and shaky...

The bass bite is fair, mostly on dropshots and shaky heads, but size has been lacking.

Carp are the real sleeper bite right now... soaking corn on the bottom can connect you with an 8 to 10 pound fish any time of day.
