Caught 2 nice trout. Used power bait wit a 12 inch leader. The second trout was caught with a mice tail.
Arrived at 6 am, caught 12 trout in 4 hour's, used power bait leader was 10 inches,
Went fishing for trout at Rancho Jurpa Pond 3 times in the last 2 weeks..There were about 20 people fishing. Not one trout caught. Power bait, spinners, and Jigging. Nothing. We tried numerous colors on everything. Ever since the fishing derby nothing will bite. Go somewhere else.
Tried to fish this lake one more time today, I should have stayed home. Trash everywhere, the pier on lot 1 is still closed, no one knows when it will be repaired. You have to have a boat now to fish here. Shore fishing is horrible.
Trout stock was posted for the 9th, it never happened. Horrible day fishing today. No bites at all.
