Rancho Seco Lake Fishing Overview
Rancho Seco Park is located approximately 25 miles outside of Sacramento, and offers 600 acres full of outdoor recreation. The centerpiece is the 160-acre Rancho Seco Lake. Bass, crappie and bluegill are the main attraction for anglers during warmer months. Keep in mind, all bass are catch and release. The CDFW schedules multiple trout stocks throughout late-winter and early spring. Kayaks and electric motored boats are allowed (no gas motors). Camping, boat rentals, and a general store are also available lakeside.
