Fishing reports for New Hogan Lake

Striped bass are biting at Hogan, primarily targeting shad and baitfish around the lake. Trollers are pulling harness rigs in silver loaded with anchovies, especially near the dam. Overall water conditions are improving.

Still quiet at New Hogan. Stripers haven't started schooling yet, catch reports are very minimal. The warming weather will hopefully clear the water further, and kick of a decent bite in the next few weeks.

Water conditions are still suboptimal, with the heavy winter runoff keeping things muddy. Water temps remain cold, and fishing for all species is very quiet.
