Pinto Lake, located in Watsonville, is known for its largemouth bass, crappie, and carp fishery. It offers several amenities for anglers, including a boat ramp, rentals, and fishing docks (which can get quite busy on warm weekends).

Pinto Lake sustains a healthy population of fish with a few scattered giants. Big bass are taken out of Pinto yearly, some reaching nearly double digits. The crappie fishing is very good during spring, with some pushing upwards of 2 lb. Behemoth carp also inhabit the lake.

Due to ongoing issues with algae and runoff from nearby farms, the water isn't conducive to keeping the fish. So catch-and-release is advised.
