Uvas is offering a good fall bite for both bass and catfish. Bass action has mostly come on chatterbaits, spinnerbaits, and Senkos, with the average fish being 1–2 pounds. Bass are holding near the bottom, so let your baits sink. Catfishing has been good, with higher-quality fish being caught now compared to the rest of the year. Nightcrawlers and cut bait are working best.

The bass bite at Uvas has been decent over the last month. Soft plastics, more specifically shakey heads and dropshots, are the go-to for action during the day. However, the reaction bite really takes off when the sun dips and the weather cools in the evenings. Shad-colored crankbaits and topwater poppers or walking baits have been best. Most fish are 1-2 pounds, with the occasional 3+ pounder.
