Another trout stocking is planned for this week by CDFW. Overall, action has been very good. Trollers are running spoons or blade/crawler combinations from 15 feet to the surface. Shore casters and throwing powerbait or nightcrawlers.
Boat access is still unavailable due to the snow, but warming temperatures in the coming weeks should change that quickly. Anglers are still finding some success from shore, primarily for rainbows.
Rainbow and brown trout action is primarily coming from trollers, though shore casters are still finding some success soaking worms and PowerBait.
