Normally, Lake Davis would be frozen over right now, but thanks to a warm, wet winter, there’s still open water to fish from the bank. Folks are primarily using Powerbait, Gulp Pinch Crawlers, and other scented bait... casting far out into sunny areas of the lake. Quality fish are being caught (16-18 inches), but fish are sluggish with the water temperature in the low 30s. Stick to bait, as those casting spoons or spinners are finding very limited action.
