Bucks Lake Fishing Overview

Water Description

Bucks Lake, a small mountain reservoir in California, offers exceptional fishing for five trout species: Mackinaw, Kokanee, Brown, Rainbow, and Brook. Despite its size, it's known for trophy fish, with some Macks exceeding 20 pounds. Trolling for kokanee is also very popular at Bucks. Boat rentals, launch ramp, and camping are readily available.
