The pond is closed and is being drained. It is surrounded by fencing and there is no entry. This is a project that should be completed with no harm to the fish (we'll see about that!) according to the Walnut Creek Arts & Rec. Department. I hope there is a good reason why this is being conducted. The city is working with regulatory agencies to protect local wildlife during the project.
