Rancho Jurupa Park is located just behind Mt. Rubidoux, west of Riverside’s historic downtown. It offers two fishing lakes with good action year-round. During winter, the lakes are stocked frequently with trout. Warmer months shift the focus to largemouth bass and catfish, both of which can reach the high single digits.

Fishing here can get competitive, with crowds showing up early, especially on weekends during stocking weeks. Keep an eye out for cormorants—they’re notorious for stealing fish.

The park also features campgrounds, a water play area, and a disc golf course, offering plenty of amenities for the whole family.
