Wishon Reservoir is known for its rainbow and German brown trout fishing. There's also a small, feisty population of wild brook trout. Its unique 'wishbone' shape gives it more shoreline relative to its size, offering varied terrain for shore fishing. There are campgrounds, backcountry hiking trails, and a boat launch area on the south end. Water levels can fluctuate drastically due to varied snowmelt levels, so conditions can change year to year.
