Water temps are in the low 80s at Miramar, keeping fish sluggish and deep throughout most of the day. Light line and slow finesse rigs are getting the most attention... black and blue dropshots, Senkos, and Ned rigs fished around structure in 15 to 20 feet have been the most productive. Fish are moving up in the early mornings and late evenings, with a short topwater window producing a few fish. But overall, it’s slow and deep until the weather and water temps start to cool.
