Green Valley received a trout stock the second week of September, and the bite has been fantastic since. Mice tails and chartreuse or green PowerBait are reportedly pulling limits. The crowds have dwindled now that the summer season is over, which should keep the pressure low and the bite active for another couple weeks or longer. Water temps are sitting right around 69 degrees. The small bass and sunfish bite has been decent on mini jigs or nightcrawlers… but don’t expect much size.
