Friday was a good day for fishing for me. Calaveras and state trout were stocked sometime in the days preceding my adventure. I caught 4 Calaveras trout in the 2-3 lb range.

West Shore continued to produce trout limits for me. It was a good day as I caught 4 decent sized trout by 8 am. I should have left as it took 90 minutes to catch the 5th one.

Fishing the west shore at the very end close to the dock produced a limit of trout by 11 am. One of the trout was a 3 lb which was a nice catch for me. Tight lines and Happy Holidays. Michael

Trout fishing for the derby was stocked with 4,000 lbs. I came in 4th but on Sunday I caught a 6.4 lb trout. My personal best caught trout using powerworms. Most fishermen know me as Michael out there. Tight lines!

The South Lake was stocked with trout. It was a slow day but I did catch four smaller-sized trout. Very nice park as it was the first time I have fished there
