Baum Lake Fishing Overview
Water Description
Baum Lake hosts a solid fishery for both brown and rainbow trout. The lake is stocked annually with rainbows, while the browns are self-sustaining. 12 inch stockers are the common catch, although giant browns roam Baum's waters... the lake record being 24 pounds. Anglers can access the lake from boat or bank. Regulations prohibit gas motors, though electric motors are allowed. Camping is available at nearby Hat Creek and Lake Britton, with supplies obtainable in Burney.
