It's time for BIG bass here in San Diego, and Lake Poway leading the way. Jesse La Mar pulled out the official lake record here a few days ago, weighing in at 14.1 lb. Plenty of trout are still in Poway, with more coming in March. These stockers are small, perfect for kids to catch, as well as food for trophy largemouth bass. Bass action is currently slow, although with all these stockers present, giant largemouth are bound to be caught this spring.
