Miramar is seeing an excellent bass bite right now as they continue to target shad heavily. A-Rigs, swimbaits, and underspins are all getting quality fish, glidebaits as well. Drop-shots and T-rigged worms are also catching fish, though the average size tends to be smaller. If this same feeding activity keeps up through next week, the CDFW trout plant (scheduled for the week of Dec. 8) will only spark even more action for trophy-sized bass. Bluegill action is still available as well.

Also to note: Miramar water levels have dipped substantially over the last few weeks, and as of now, the boat ramp is closed.
