Catfish stocks are reportedly set to begin in July, but don't wait... anglers are already hooking into some giant double-digit fish off the docks near the boat ramp right now.

The bass bite remains good. Fish are still pushed up shallow in the backs of coves, tucked under docks, and holding near structure in 10–15 feet. Finesse is the move: wacky-rigged Senkos, Flukes, and Texas-rigged worms worked close to the bank are producing solid fish up to 4 pounds. Morning and evening are your best windows... although expect that window to tighten as water temps climb through June and July.
