Lake Gregory has received 3 trout plants this month, the latest coming last week. These stocks along with excellent conditions have served up a hot trout bite for both size and numbers. Multiple baits are working right now: Mice Tails, Trout Worms, and Green or Corn PowerBait are all pulling limits of CDFW fish, with some 2–4 pounders mixed in.

Water temps are now in the high 50s / low 60s, so the bass are starting to show. A few folks have reported smaller largemouth on rooster tails and drop shots as well. But typical for Gregory, the bass bite is always touch and go.
