Fishing reports for Donner Lake

Water temps are still quite cold. All fishing action has been slow. Icy conditions. The forecasted warmer weeks should improve fishing and access.

Still extremely icy and cold conditions at Donner, but for those who can get on the lake, big Mackinaw await. Some anglers have found success trolling larger spoons from 20 feet and up. Warmer weather in the coming weeks should bring better fishing (and more anglers).
