Paradise Lake for its lush surroundings and quality fishing. The lake inhabits largemouth, spotted, and redeye bass, as well as a resident population of catfish. Rainbow trout are stocked (typically in spring) by the CDFW, and a few big brown trout also reside in the lake. The boat season at Paradise spans from April through November, when fishing for bass and catfish is best (the warmer the weather, the better).
