Horseshoe received substantial trout stockings over the last couple weeks, both from the EBRPD and the CDFW. Lightening and lassen trout were in the mix. Powerbait has been the standard approach, but some are finding action on small spinners and eggs. There's also been a fair bass bite as the water warms, and a few giant carp were also reported.
