The CDFW just announced a projected stock for this week at Chabot, along with other East Bay lakes. Trout action before the holiday break was hot, with limits caught on PowerBait, jigs, and floated nightcrawlers. Over the past week, though, the bite has slowed down a bit for many anglers. Another Lassen stock is expected in early January, so keep an eye out.
