Blue Lakes Fishing Overview

Water Description

Blue Lakes consists of "Upper Blue Lake" and "Lower Blue Lake". Upper Blue Lake features colder, deeper water, and is known primarily for its trout fishing (the CDFW stocks it often in the colder months). Although bass fishing can be good during the summer as well. Lower Blue Lake isn't as deep as its counterpart and is primarily a warm water fishery providing solid bass, crappie, and catfish action in the warmer months. Trout are not stocked.

This report is from November 25th me and my friend Billy wynn, caught these five rainbow trout on chartreuse power bait from the shoreline had a great time,I forgot to post it they are stocking blue lakes today, January 19th 2025... It rained all day that day.
