The bass bite at Success has been very good all throughout May, and not just in terms of numbers. A few big females have been reported, caught on jigs in 10-15 feet of water. Finesse techniques (Senkos, t-rigged worms, drop-shots) have been excellent for smaller, shallow fish. Crappie are holding near offshore structure... electronics are a must for targeting these areas. Cut baits and night crawlers are consistently getting bites from catfish, especially in the evenings.
