I have been patiently waiting for the resident bass population to arrive. The only bass I'm catching are on drop shot, near the bottom. Tons of crappie suspending at 10-15ft. Sometimes down to 30ft. I've been biding my time, honing my active target 2 skills, throwing at the suspended crappie, and catching 25-30 crappie, each time I go out. Here's a sampling of today's slabs. Water is up about 1.5ft since Sunday. Clarity is actually holding at about 1.5ft, but at least it's a nice aqua color, instead of brown coffee.
