There’s been a decent bass bite at Calero over the last couple of weeks. As the water cools slightly, the fish are becoming more active, especially with topwater strikes. Plenty of bluegill and the occasional crappie are being caught near the launch dock and deep in the coves. Jigs, nightcrawlers, or flies.
