Poway bass are in spawn mode. A lot of fish can be seen bedding, although catching them can be a challenge due to the sheer number of fishermen and lures they've already experienced. Sight fishing can be a blast, but anglers are finding a higher catch rate by targeting fish a little deeper.
The last trout stocking of the season was April 4, and bite frequency is dwindling. The deepest & coldest areas of the lake are best currently.
