Prado Lake trout action has been very good lately. Rainbows are being stocked every Thursday by San Bernardino County, plus bonus plants from CDFW (one in December and another last week). Folks are finding lots of 2-3 pounders, but 5-6 pounders are also being caught. Even a few lightning trout are being picked up once in a while. Mice Tails, spinners, and chartreuse PowerBait are all getting bites, and a few catfish are jumping in on the Mice Tail action too. The larger groups of fish have been hanging out in smaller coves rather than the main lake.
