Water Description

Canyon Lake is located within a gated community in Riverside County. Public access is restricted, but residents enjoy a high-quality warm-water fishery. Largemouth bass are the primary catch here, with an average weight of 1-2 pounds. However, occasionally throughout the year, some bass are caught weighing in the double digits. Crappie fishing can be fruitful, and sizable channel catfish are known to roam the shallows on warm summer evenings.
