Bridgeport Reservoir is fishing very well right now, but only if you're in a boat and up in the channels. Boats working the Robinson, Buckeye, and East Walker arms are landing upwards of 20 fish a day as long as the wind cooperates. PowerBait, mice tails, and inflated nightcrawlers are all getting fish. Shore anglers and trollers on the main lake haven't produced much... the algae bloom isn't helping, as it's even discoloring the East Walker below the dam. Stay in the channels until cooler nights improve main lake conditions over the next few weeks.
