Anglers are finding action around shad schools, with both king salmon and rainbow trout hitting shad-imitation spoons and spinners. Salmon up to 3.5 pounds are being at depths of 30 to 40 feet. Bass fishing has been challenging, but small fish are being taken near drop-offs, points, and rock walls. Drop-shots, Senkos, and minnow-style jerkbaits are getting bit. There’s also a short topwater bite in the early mornings.
