Bon Tempe has seen steady trout stockings from the CDFW this season, with two rounds in November, two in December, and another earlier this month. Anglers soaking PowerBait or Micetails are getting fairly consistent action, though most of the fish being caught are on the smaller side, with some just shy of 10 inches. If you sift through the dinks, there are fish in the 12–14 inch range to be found. The recent warm spell has also sparked a decent bass bite, with a few 1–2 pound smallmouth showing up.
