Puddingstone is officially closed until July 1 due (tentatively) to a failed power transformer, but for those still slipping in, the bass bite hasn’t slowed much.

Smaller largemouth are active and eating well from shore, with drop-shots and small crankbaits working well. Topwater has been good in the mornings (especially if there's fog)... poppers along rocky points and frogs in the brush are drawing higher quality fish.

Trout are basically done for the season, but a few leftover stockers are still nipping at worms and Powerbait.

Beware of trespassing citations if you do decide to risk fishing before July 1.
