Water temps are creeping into the low to mid 60s, and the spring bass bite is wide open right now. Lots of 1–2 pounders are showing around the lake, with the occasional 5+ pounder in the mix. Smaller shad-style swimbaits and 4.5” dropshot worms are working well for numbers, but bigger trout-pattern swimbaits are getting the larger fish, especially since the recent trout plant.
