Fishing earlier in the mornings seems to pose the best opportunities to catch bigger trout. Lots of risers in the morning and a bit more aggressive. Put your line out there and give it a try.

Slow but still got some action. Got 3 one big n two little ones. Gotta be the first to put your line in the water if u want that big one. Once people shown up the biting stop. Power bait rainbow glidder
Lower Kings River has been churning out some massive rainbows over the last few days. Just below Pine Flat Dam near North Riverside Park, anglers have reported landing multiple fish in the 7-10 pound range. Wax worms have been the ticket. Weekly CDFW stockings in the area have been constant all winter and should continue into the new year.
