The trout stockings continue, as April alone received over 5,800 pounds (200 pounds were trophy-size). Anglers are trolling Speedy Shiners and Rapalas in 20-30 feet of water, while shore-casters are using everything from Powerbait to small swimbaits to live worms. The fish are beautiful this year, with quite the species variation (Donaldson Rainbows, Amador Golden Rainbows, Cutbows, Amador Blue Rainbows, and Golden Cutbows).
