Awesome day! Went 3 for 6. And my friend caught one but a couple of slobs for sure! Fish were jumping all around, creating a wake on the surface of the glass like water today. Almost trout like behavior. Visibility was amazing making site fishing pretty easy. Ideal conditions.
Beautiful weather and almost no fish to be had. Tried multiple locations and techniques. Caught 2 small fish today wife caught one. Lake was packed parking lot full. Water was more clear than a few weeks ago and the weather was great.
4th steelhead of the year and my 1st keeper. Nothing for about 5 hours then got this guy on 6mm orange bead. Stoked!
Awesome day, weather high 60’s water like glass most of the day and the bite was on. I caught 5, wife caught 4. Great day on the lake! Also, apparently starting today Monday-Thursday green tags available til 6pm Friday-Sunday til 7pm. No end in sight for this process.
8 hours without one bite and finally hooked up on this gorgeous wild Steelhead. Fishing has slowed down considerably as the season comes to a close. Seems like the sailor bar side of accessible is producing more and up river closer to the cable is producing as well. This was on the beach late day.
Weather was sunny and great early winds high making it a bit choppy, turned to very cold and windy late in the day. Water level is very high and stained. Heard another launch was closed so Markley Cove was packed. Caught one fish first cast and not one other bite the entire day. But it was a good sized fish and happy to have caught at all! Hoping...
