Tried out my New NuCanoe umax with bow motor. Found first fish and got broken off (drop shot mm) Didn’t get another bite till noon in western arm. Saw two fish 4-5 lbs, looked like they were on a nest. Around 1:00, hooked a BIG fish. Double over my Phenix 77mh, then came unbuttoned. I think it was the female 4-5 lbs. Didn’t get another bite till noon in western arm. Saw two fish 4-5 lbs, looked like they were on a nest. Around 1:00, hooked a BIG fish. Double over my Phenix 77mh, then came unbuttoned. I think it was the female 4-5 lbs.
Only landed the 1.6 pounds
Wind swirling in all directions.
Fishing from a kayak Water temp Water temperature 54-56 Caught one bass on Sakamata 4” strollin 1/8 head 7 lb test to braid. Rocky drop offs in 30’ I didn’t see or spook any fish in shallow. All structures are covered in thick algae. No other activity rest of day. Bass boats were changing locations looking for activity.
