Decent bass bite. Lots of litter everywhere. You have to pay a premium to fish this lake yet it looks like a landfill. Today was the first time I fished there in the evening. Be warned, they kick everyone off the lake right before the golden hour. What's the point of paying, ridiculous on it's own, if you can't even fishing during the best time of the day. It left a bad taste in my mouth. I doubt I will go back.

Incredibly slow. I exclusively fish the public end. It's possible that fishing on the private side is more productive. Fishing the public end has been awful for months. There is still a heavy amount of suspended algae. I fish this lake nearly every week. The last decent month was October. The fish are there but they have lockjaw. I think its a combination of extreme fishing pressure, persistent algae, and lack of winter weather. Hopefully things improve.

Another abysmal day at Lake Hemet. Zero action. We tried lures, bait n wait, bobber fishing. There were several other groups of people fishing and nobody caught anything. The lake seems dead. It has been this way for over a month. There is still a large amount of algae suspended in the water which makes for very dirty fishing gear. I've all but given up on this lake.
